World Vision- Japan Tsunami Relief – Cause of the Month March 2011

0

Hope: Everyone needs water, air, food, a safe place to live. But something else, a little less tangible but so important is needed.

Percy Bysshe Shelley said  “Man can live about forty days without food, about three days without water, about eight minutes without air  but only for one second without hope.”

At Kosmos® we support ministries that give hope to the hopeless and comfort to the brokenhearted.

The Recipient: World Vision- Japan

World Vision is mobilizing relief supplies for children following the 8.9 magnitude quake and devastating tsunami.

More than 10,000 people were killed, hundreds are missing, and 200,000 are displaced after an 8.9-magnitude earthquake, the biggest in the country’s history, struck Japan and triggered a massive tsunami. World Vision is sending emergency relief staff to the impacted areas to assess and respond to the immediate needs of survivors.

Please pray

Please keep in prayer the children, families, and communities left devastated by this earthquake, tsunamis, and recurring aftershocks.
